Perfecting Your Computer Back Up

Elliott Stern, an LACS member, strongly believes there is more to owning a computer then simply turning it on and hoping for the best. Unfortunately, too many computer owners buy the least expensive unit and never pay attention to protection and preventative maintenance. He calls this the “plug and pray, then walk away” method of computer ownership.
Elliott’s presentation will include:
o Basic backup skills that are too often overlooked
o The Maestro’s 4R’s model of better backups
o Why cloud backup alone may not be providing full system protection
o What information is missing from your backup
